Thumbwheel goes to 10 in one
hour and does not stop.
Pilot lights do not light and kiln
does not heat.

contacts.
Speed control switch is defective.
Panel wiring is hitting against the
PRD11AGO relay, causing relay to
be stuck closed.
Thumbwheel power switch INF240
31B is out of calibration.
Wire or element is interfering with
the PRD11AGO relay operation.
Defective PRD11AGO relay.
No power to kiln. Defective pilot
light. Defective switch under
thumbwheel. Loose connection.

(100% power when the
thumbwheel stops at a setting of 3
or 4). This only means the
calibration of the power control is
incorrect. Your kiln will still
operate at a little faster speed.
If motor is turning (check though
screen and plastic window in
motor) but the thumbwheel is not
turning up  replace motor. This is
a very rare occurrence. It can be
caused by breaking teeth on motor
by forcing thumbwheel backwards.
Check for wire or element
interfering with PRD11AGO relay.
Move wires so there is no
interference.
Replace PRD11AGO relay.
Plug kiln in. Push plunger of Kiln
Sitter® in. Reset circuit breaker or
replace fuse. Check voltage at wall
receptacle. Check kiln wiring.
Disconnect all other appliances,
lights, etc. on the same circuit to
isolate problem. Check wall
receptacle.
