Keeping food in the chill drawer, instead of
the freezer or refrigerator compartments,
allows food to retain freshness and avour
for longer, while preserving its fresh
appearance. When the chill drawer tray
becomes dirty, remove it and wash with
water.
(Water freezes at 32°F, but food containing
salt or sugar freezes at temperatures lower
than this).
The chill drawer is usually used for storing
foods such as raw sh, lightly pickled food,
rice, and so on.
Do not put food you want to freeze
