The Crosley CR8009B-DU Discovery Turntable is a portable record player designed for playing vinyl records and streaming audio via Bluetooth. It features a classic suitcase-style design, making it easy to transport and set up.
The primary function of this device is to play vinyl records at multiple speeds. It also includes an Aux In jack for connecting external audio devices and Bluetooth connectivity for both input (streaming music to the turntable's speakers) and output (transmitting audio from the turntable to external Bluetooth headphones or speakers).
If the Auto-stop Switch is set to ON, the platter will automatically stop spinning when the record reaches the end. If the turntable stops prematurely, set the switch to OFF to resolve the issue.
The Pitch Control Knob allows for approximately 10% adjustment of the turntable speed. Turn the knob clockwise to increase speed and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
Connect a 3.5mm auxiliary cable between your audio device and the Aux In Jack on the turntable to play music through its speakers. The Function Indicator will be purple. Note that the Aux In connection overrides turntable and Bluetooth functions; unplug the cable to resume other functions.
The RCA Jacks provide analog line-level signals. Connect the Red plug to the Right channel and the White plug to the Left channel of active/powered speakers or your stereo system's appropriate input. These jacks are not designed for passive/unpowered speakers, and connecting them to such speakers will result in very low volume.
To save power, some models comply with ERP energy-saving standards. If there is no audio input for 20 minutes, the unit will automatically power off. To resume playing, turn the power off and then on again.
