Kitchens. Most household fires originate
in the kitchen. The CFH10 is ideal for the
kitchen since it is not activated by the

cooking scents). The recommended Fixed

(47°C)
Garages. Exhaust gases from vehicles
will not trigger the Heat Alarm. The
recommended Fixed Temperature Setting
for garages is 135°F (57°C)
Attics. The CFH10 is not affected by
dust, small insects or seasonal changes
in temperature. The recommended Fixed
Temperature Setting for attics is 175°F
(79°C), however in cooler regions a 135°F
(57°C) setting may be used.
Utility and Furnace Rooms. The low
volume steam and gases produced by
mechanical equipment will not activate
the CFH10. The recommended Fixed
Temperature Setting is 135°F (57°C)
