Front Panel LED’s & Switches:
The processor monitors the (3) front panel control switches and provides the
necessary interface to the display and amplifier. In addition, the processor
monitors the thermal sensors from Ruby and provides thermal LED lights during
over temperature. The processor lights the output -20dB, -10dB, and CLIP LED’s
as required.
PWM DeadTime Control:
Although not presently used, the processor has the capability of changing the
switching deadtime of the PWM amplifier channels through the use of the
processors PWM outputs and filtering.
Fan Control:
The processor monitors the thermal sensors as discussed earlier and controls the
fan speed using a PWM output and filter R704/C721. The curve below shows the
relationship of temperature to fan speed.
