Plug is polarized; fit into outlet. Reverse if needed.

Important Safety Tips

Keep Lid Closed

Keep lid closed while cooking. Use handle to raise/lower basket.

Beware of Steam

Be aware of steam when opening the lid.

Dry Food Before Frying

Dry wet food, remove ice from frozen food. Close lid when frying.

Appliance Placement

Keep appliance 4 inches from walls. Do not place objects on top.

Oil Level

Fill oil between MIN/MAX marks. Do not operate without oil or with insufficient oil.

Dry Lid/Container

Do not operate if lid/container are not dry.

Keep Away From Children

Keep fryer away from children and counter edges.

Approved Oils

Do not use solid/hydrogenated oil, shortening, olive, grapeseed, lard. Use good quality oil (420°F smoke point).

Countertop Protection

Use nonflammable, heat-resistant coaster/placemat.

Before the First Use

Operating Instructions

Install Control Panel

Insert the control panel into the stainless steel body.

Add Oil to Container

Pour oil into the container between MIN and MAX marks.

Set Temperature

Set temperature control knob and wait for Oil Ready light.

Add Food to Basket

Place food in basket, do not exceed MAX fill line. Lower basket into oil.

Set Timer

Set the timer for the specified cooking time.

Remove Cooked Food

Raise basket, drain oil, remove food to paper towels.

Turn Off and Unplug

Turn temp control to Standby, unplug cord after cooking.

Cleaning, Care and Maintenance

Unplug and Cool Down

Unplug appliance and let oil cool before cleaning.

Clean Control Panel

Control panel not submersible; wipe with damp cloth.

Strain Used Oil

Line sieve with cheesecloth to strain oil. Repeat process.

Dishwasher Safe Parts

Lid and oil container are dishwasher safe. Dry parts thoroughly.

Wash Housing

Stainless steel housing is not submersible; wash by hand.

Dry All Parts

Ensure lid and oil container are completely dry before use.

Reassemble Unit

Reassemble parts; heating element must be seated properly.

Handle Basket for Storage

Fold basket handle down for storage.

Wipe Control Panel

Use damp microfiber cloth for easy cleaning.

Oil Change Frequency

Oil doesn't need changing after each use. Tainted by protein, used 4-6 times if filtered.

Filter Oil

Filter oil through sieve/cheesecloth to remove particles. Repeat process.
