does not apply to scratches, stains, discoloration or other
damage to external or internal surfaces which does not impair
the functional utility of the cookware.
This warranty also expressly excludes all incidental or
consequential damages. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion may not
apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ONLY
California law provides that for In-Warranty Service, California
residents have the option of returning a nonconforming
product (a) to the store where it was purchased or (b)
to another retail store which sells Cuisinart

products of
the same type. The retail store shall then, according to its
preference, either repair the product, refer the consumer to
an independent repair facility, replace the product, or refund
the purchase price less the amount directly attributable
to the consumer’s prior usage of the product. If the above
two options do not result in the appropriate relief to the
consumer, the consumer may then take the product to
an independent repair facility, if service or repair can be
economically accomplished. Cuisinart, and not the consumer,
will be responsible for the reasonable cost of such service,
repair, replacement or refund for nonconforming products
under warranty.
California residents may also, according to their preference,
return nonconforming products directly to Cuisinart for

Overview

The Cuisinart® Forever Stainless Collection is a line of cookware designed for durability and versatile performance. It features an iconic 6-point diamond design and is crafted with mirror-polished stainless steel, complemented by riveted stainless steel handles. This collection is suitable for use in the oven, broiler, and freezer, offering a broad range of cooking applications.

Function Description:

The primary function of the Cuisinart® Forever Stainless Collection is to provide efficient and even heat distribution for various cooking tasks. Its aluminum encapsulated base ensures high conductivity, allowing for quick and uniform heating. This makes it suitable for boiling, simmering, and baking. The cookware is designed to be used on induction stovetops, glass stovetops, and over gas burners. The uniquely designed rims and covers create a perfect fit, which helps reduce the evaporation of liquids during cooking. This design can also create a partial vacuum seal when the heat is turned off, preserving moisture and flavor.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Material: Mirror-polished stainless steel with an aluminum encapsulated base.
  • Handles: Riveted stainless steel handles.
  • Oven Safety: Cookware is oven safe up to 500°F. Glass lids are oven safe up to 350°F.
  • Stovetop Compatibility: Suitable for induction, glass, and gas stovetops.
  • Freezer Safety: Yes.
  • Dishwasher Safety: Yes.

Usage Features:

  • Heat Management: It is crucial to avoid using high heat with this cookware. The highly conductive base means that low to medium heat settings are sufficient for most cooking, and medium-high is adequate for boiling water. Overheating can burn food, damage the pan, and potentially harm the stovetop.
  • Preventing Dry Boiling: Never leave Cuisinart cookware empty over a burner or allow it to boil dry. If a pan boils dry, turn off the heat immediately and let it cool naturally before removing it from the stovetop.
  • Stovetop Use:
    • Induction: Always center the cooking vessel on the burner for optimal performance. Refer to the induction stovetop manual for specific usage information.
    • Glass: To prevent scratching, avoid sliding the cookware on the glass surface. Consult the glass cooktop manual for recommendations.
    • Gas: Ensure the flame touches only the bottom of the pan. Flames extending up the sides waste energy and can permanently discolor the pan. Due to the cookware's high thermoconductivity, even low gas settings can overheat or burn food. Using an inexpensive gas "flame-tamer" between the burner and the pot is recommended to prevent this.
  • Oven Use: The cookware can be used in the oven at any baking temperature up to 500°F. Always use potholders when handling hot handles or pans. Glass lids are oven safe up to 350°F. Do not place Cuisinart Non-Stick Cookware under the broiler.
  • Breaking a Vacuum Seal: If a partial vacuum seal forms after cooking, turn on the heat for a few moments to release the lid easily. To prevent a seal from forming, remove the cover or set it slightly ajar before turning off the heat.
  • Utensil Compatibility: While plastic or wooden utensils are recommended to preserve the cooking surface, metal utensils can be used. They may scratch the surface but will not impair the cookware's performance or durability. Hand mixers with metal beaters can also scratch the interior surface without affecting performance or durability.

Maintenance Features:

  • Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the cookware in hot water with mild soap or dish detergent, or place it in a dishwasher. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry immediately with a soft dish towel.
  • Routine Cleaning: Immediately after each use, fill the pan with hot water and liquid dish detergent, letting it stand until lukewarm. Use a sponge or soft cloth to remove food particles. Avoid steel wool or coarse metal pads, as they can cause scratches. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately for a flawless finish.
  • Dishwasher Use: The cookware is dishwasher safe. However, soil from other dishes can be abrasive, and carelessly packed items may mar the surface. Regular dishwasher cleaning can eventually scratch the utensil. Using a non-lemon detergent is recommended.
  • Removing Stains:
    • Multicolored Stains (Calcium Deposits): These harmless deposits can be removed with a little warm vinegar.
    • Light Residue/Cloudy Appearance (from pasta/oatmeal): Easily removed with any nonabrasive cleaning product.
  • Removing Stubborn Residue (Burned Food): If soaking doesn't loosen burned food, add water to a depth of one inch, then add a tablespoon of dishwasher detergent (non-lemon product). Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 minutes. Let cool, then drain and rinse. Loosen residue with a sponge or plastic spatula, repeating if necessary.
  • Removing Burner Stains (Outside Bottom): Use an oven cleaner, following the manufacturer's directions. Spray or brush the cleaner only on the outside bottom of the pan. If directions call for a warm oven, heat the pan before applying the cleaner. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning. Caution: Detergent fumes can be irritating. Perform this procedure under a hood with an exhaust fan or in a well-ventilated room.
  • Storage: A cookware rack or pegboard is recommended for convenient and safe storage. Stacking or crowding in cabinets or drawers may cause scratches.

Warranty Information (U.S. and Canada Only):

The Cuisinart Forever Stainless Collection cookware is warranted against defects in material and workmanship under normal home use from the date of original purchase for the original purchaser's lifetime.

  • Hassle-Free Replacement: If the cookware fails within the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
  • To Obtain a Return Shipping Label: Email www.cuisinart.com/customer-care/product-return or call the Consumer Service Center toll-free at 1-800-726-0190.
  • Exclusions: The warranty excludes damage from accident, misuse, abuse, overheating, scratches, stains, discoloration, or other external/internal surface damage that does not impair functional utility. It also excludes incidental or consequential damages.
  • California Residents Only: California law provides options for in-warranty service, including returning the product to the store of purchase, another retail store selling Cuisinart products, or directly to Cuisinart for repair/replacement. Cuisinart will cover the reasonable cost of service, repair, replacement, or refund for nonconforming products under warranty.
