Check coolant level daily, concentration every 15,000 miles/6 months, and flush system every 60,000 miles/2 years.

Describes 50/50 water/antifreeze mix for freeze and overheat protection, recommending refractometer testing.

Check oil level daily and replace the filter at every oil drain interval (15,000 miles/12 months).

Recommends SAE 15W40 oil for normal operation and specifies CES 20078/CES 20081 and API CJ-4/SL for engines with DPF/SCR.

Synthetic oil can be used if it meets performance requirements, but does not justify extended drain intervals.

Avoid special break-in oil and unproven supplemental oil additives for engine longevity.

Oil analysis for extending drain intervals is not recommended due to measurement inconsistencies.

DEF is used in SCR systems for EPA 2010 engines; it's non-toxic and requires no special handling but freezes at 11°F.

Change fuel filters at every oil change; open water drains routinely. Replace 2-micron filter if warning lamp flashes.

ULSD fuel is required for DPF engines. Lubricity additives are not needed. Use caution with fuel additives.

ISB engines are approved for B20 biodiesel. Biocides can prevent fuel contamination from bacteria or fungus.

Ether is prohibited; use a block heater below 0°F. Ensure oil pressure within 15 seconds of starting.

Adjust valves at 150,000 miles. Follow RV manufacturer's interval for air filter changes.

Inspect vibration damper at 60,000 miles/2 years. Inspect front accessory drive belt at 30,000 miles/1 year.

Replace coalescing filter every 3rd-4th oil change. Replace DEF filter every 200,000 miles.

The particulate filter requires cleaning every 200,000 miles.

Engine may fast idle for warm-up. No extended idling needed; move when oil pressure is indicated.

Idle for 3-5 minutes after high power operation. Not necessary after normal driving conditions.
