16. This appliance should be used only for heating water. Never use your kettle for
anything other than its intended purpose.
17. To avoid injury or possible fire, never cover the kettle when in use.
18. Never connect this kettle to an external timer or remote control system.
19. Never fill the kettle with water beyond the maximum fill level (clearly marked
on the kettle). If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected and cause
harm.
20. The kettle must only be used with the base station provided. Do not use the
base station with other products.
21. Never turn the kettle on when there is no water in it.
22. Empty the water in the kettle after every use.
23. Always close the lid before turning on the kettle.
24. Avoid steam from the spout and lid.
25. Never open the kettle lid while the water is boiling.
26. Ensure that the kettle is switched o before removing the kettle jug from the
base station.
27. Never place the kettle on any heat sensitive surfaces.
28. Switch o and unplug the kettle after every use.
