To get the most value from your new appliance, please read these instructions carefully.
• Before using the kettle for the first time, you should clean it with a damp soft
cloth and then dry it thoroughly.
• Place the base station on a dry, level, water and heat-resistant surface. Keep
kettle away from any flamable objects. Keep kettle away from reach of
children.
• Insert the power plug into correctly installed outlet.
• To remove any dust or residues, fill the kettle with clean drinking water to the
maximum mark fill level (7 CUPS MAX), then bring to the boil by switching
on the 212°F boil function. Follow the instructions in the ‘Using your kettle’
section of this booklet. After the boiling has finished, switch o the kettle and
pour out the water (do not drink!). Repeat this process two more times to
ensure that all dust or residue is removed.
• Allow the kettle to cool down first before re-filling it again. Pouring cold water
into the hot kettle can cause material damage.
