Installation Guide
IMPORTANT!
• For safety reasons, the Independence bed must always be lifted by two (2) people; and the unit
should always be on a at surface before opening.
• By default, your Independence bed is set to turn to the LEFT side of the person lying on it
(or to the RIGHT side of the person standing at the foot of the bed facing it). To change the
Independence bed to turn the other way, setup your bed, and then see the instructions to change
the bed rotation in the later pages of the manual.

Open the shipping carton containing the bottom part of the bed and remove any smaller accessory boxes.
Cut the orange and white zip ties to remove the parts that are tied to the bed during shipment.
Take out the four (4) post bed legs from the accessory box.
Attach all the bed legs by threading them in a clockwise direction into the pre-drilled holes on the frame.
NOTE: Do not overtighten the bed legs.

plastic.
