Installing and Removing the Infant Car Seat
Installing with Base Using Lap Belt Only
6. On the buckle side, remove slack
from the Lap Belt, being careful not
to overtighten. The SafeLock Belt
Tensioner will tighten the system fully.
After removing slack, secure the free
end of the Lap Belt under the SafeLock
Belt Tensioner.
7. Press down on the sides of the
SafeLock Belt Tensioner until an audible
CLICK is heard and the Belt Lock
Indicator turns GREEN. If Belt Tensioner
does not lock, try loosening the vehicle
belt slightly, then try to close again.
