Using the Infant Car Seat on Aircraft
NOTE: The aircraft seat belt must be as
tight as possible. Using your full weight,
push the Infant Car Seat rmly into the
aircraft seat while pulling on the excess seat
belt strap to tighten, then route the excess
seat belt strap back through the belt slots.
4. Check the recline angle. Adjust the seat
angle UNTIL THE WHITE LEVEL LINE ON
THE INFANT CAR SEAT IS LEVEL WITH
THE FLOOR OF THE AIRCRAFT.
NOTE: A tightly rolled airline blanket may
be placed under the Infant Car Seat, near
the aircraft seat back (as indicated by the
green circle), to adjust the angle. In some
instances you may not have enough space
to fully recline the Infant Car Seat.
5. Grab the Infant Car Seat at the Belt Guides
and pull from side to side and front to back
to make sure it is installed correctly. The
Infant Car Seat should not move more than
2.5 cm (1 in) in any direction.
If the Infant Car Seat moves too much,
tighten the airplane belts more and recheck.
