enable igmp_snooping
Parameters forward_mcrouter_only – Specifies that the Switch should only forward all
multicast traffic to a multicast-enabled router. Otherwise, the Switch will
forward all multicast traffic to any IP router.
Restrictions Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To enable IGMP snooping on the Switch:
DES-3026:4#enable igmp_snooping
Command: enable igmp_snooping
Success.

disable igmp_snooping
Purpose Used to disable IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
disable igmp_snooping
Description This command disables IGMP snooping on the Switch. IGMP snooping can
be disabled only if IP multicast routing is not being used. Disabling IGMP
snooping allows all IGMP and IP multicast traffic to flood within a given IP
interface.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example usage:
To disable IGMP snooping on the Switch:
DES-3026:4#disable igmp_snooping
Command: disable igmp_snooping
Success.

show igmp_snooping
Purpose Used to show the current status of IGMP snooping on the Switch.
Syntax
show igmp_snooping {vlan <vlan_name 32>}
Description This command will display the current IGMP snooping configuration on the
Switch.
Parameters
<vlan_name 32> The name of the VLAN for which to view the IGMP
snooping configuration.
Restrictions None.
