What to do if my D-Link WDA-2320 RangeBooster G is unable to connect to the wireless network or the Internet?
    • J
      jermainerussellJul 26, 2025
If your computer with the D-Link Adapter WDA-2320 installed can't connect to the wireless network or the Internet, first check the LED indicators on your broadband modem and wireless router to ensure they show normal activity and proper functioning. Verify that the IP Address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS settings are correctly entered for your network. In Infrastructure mode, ensure the Service Set Identifier (SSID) is the same on both the wireless client and access point. In Ad-Hoc mode, both wireless clients need to have the same SSID. Check that the Network Connection for the wireless client is configured properly. If security is enabled, make sure the correct encryption keys are entered on both the WDA-2320 and the access point.

If you cannot connect to the access point or the wireless router using your D-Link Adapter WDA-2320, ensure that the SSID on the adapter is exactly the same as the SSID on the Access Point or wireless router. Try moving the adapter and the Access Point or wireless router into the same room to test the wireless connection. Disable all security settings such as WEP, MAC Address Control, and AES. Also, verify that the Radio is not locked down to a different frequency. Try turning off your Access Point and the computer with the WDA-2320, then turn them back on. Finally, refresh the WDA-2320 Utility.
