Air ilter maintenance
Fouled air lters (19) diminish the motor performance due to
reduced air supply to the carburettor. Regular inspection is
therefore essential.
The air lter should be checked every 25 operating hours
and cleaned as required. The air lter must be checked more
often in case of very dusty air.
• Before check air lter, fold the seat rst.
• Open the air iter.
• Open air lter cover (A) ,Remove air lter element (B).
• Clean the paper lter (B) with compressed air only or by
knocking them out.
Important: Never clean the air lter with petrol or
in lammable cleaning agents. Clean the paper lter with
compressed air or simply by knocking out any soiling.
Maintenance of the spark plug
Check the spark plug for dirt and grime after 10 hours of
operation and if necessary clean it with a copper wire brush.
Thereafter service the spark plug after every 50 hours of
operation.
Pull off the spark plug boot with a twist. Remove the spark
plug (22) with a spark plug wrench
