Safety Precautions:

  • Users must read the owner's manual before operation and wear head, eye, ear, foot protection, and gloves.
  • Bystanders and helpers should be kept at least 15 meters (50 feet) away from the machine during operation to avoid injury from thrown objects.
  • The machine should not be operated in slippery conditions, at night, in heavy fog, or when visibility is limited.
  • Avoid using the product during rain storms, lightning storms, or strong winds.
  • Never operate the product under the influence of alcohol, when exhausted, or when judgment might be impaired.
  • The working area should be clear of hidden obstacles like stumps, stones, cans, or broken glass.
  • Always use the harness and adjust it so the left hand can comfortably hold the handlebar grip at waist height.
  • Never place the throttle in the high-speed position when starting the engine.
  • Maintain a steady posture with feet slightly apart to distribute weight evenly.
  • Keep the cutting attachment below waist level and maintain appropriate engine speed for the task.
  • If the unit shakes or vibrates, turn off the engine and inspect for issues.
  • Keep all body parts away from rotating cutting attachments and hot surfaces.
  • Never touch the muffler, spark plug, or other hot metallic parts during operation or immediately after shutting down.
  • When using the pruner, do not operate at an angle greater than 60 degrees to reduce the risk of falling objects.
  • Maintain a clearance of at least 15 meters from electrical lines when using the pole saw.
  • When using the saw chain, wear protective gloves due to sharp edges.
  • Pay attention to the correct direction of the saw chain installation.
  • Ensure proper chain tension to prevent rapid wear of the guide bar or the chain coming off.
  • Gasoline is highly flammable; avoid smoking or open flames near fuel. Refuel outdoors on bare ground, at least 3 meters (10 feet) away from the starting point.
  • Stop the engine and allow it to cool before refueling.
  • Use a gasoline-to-oil mixture of 25:1 (when using genuine oil). Using lower octane gasoline can cause engine temperature to rise and lead to piston seizing.
  • Never use raw gasoline (without oil) as it will severely damage internal engine parts.
  • Gasohol can deteriorate rubber and plastic parts and disrupt engine lubrication.
  • Do not use 4-cycle engine oil as it can cause spark plug fouling and piston ring sticking.
  • Mixed fuels left unused for a month or more can clog the carburetor.
  • When storing the product for a long time, clean the fuel tank and carburetor.
  • Do not use wasted or regenerated oil.
  • When starting, set the stop switch to the "-" position and the throttle trigger to the start position.
  • Pull the starter rope quickly until the engine fires.
  • Move the choke lever downward to open the choke for restarting.
  • Allow the engine to warm up for several minutes before operation.
  • To stop the engine, release the throttle lever, run the engine for half a minute, then shift the stop switch to the "STOP" position.
  • If the engine doesn't stop, move the choke lever to the closed position.
  • Adjust the throttle cable to ensure normal play of 1 or 2 mm.
  • Adjust idling speed by turning the adjusting screw counter-clockwise when the engine tends to stop at idling mode.
  • The cutting head will start rotating upon engine start; ensure it is clear of obstacles.
  • For blade usage, choose the appropriate cutting attachment (9" 8-tooth, 9" 4-tooth, or nylon line head) based on the type of weeds or grass.
  • When replacing or sharpening blades, wear thick, sturdy gloves and use proper tools.
  • Ensure the cutting attachment guard is suitable for the metal blade.
  • Tighten the blade nut to a torque of 1.5 - 2.0 N.m. (0.15-0.2 kg.m.).
  • When using the blade, use the front left side for cutting and guide it from right to left, tilted slightly to the left.
  • Adjust engine speed and cutting depth to prevent the blade from seizing in weeds.
  • If grass or objects get caught in the blade, or if the unit shakes, turn off the engine and inspect the blade for damage.
  • Ensure the blade is not bent, warped, cracked, or broken. Replace damaged blades with certified ones.
  • Hang the unit on your right side using the shoulder strap, adjusting its length so the cutting head is parallel to the ground.
  • Be aware of blade thrust, which can occur if the blade contacts an object it cannot cut. Maintain a firm grip and balanced stance.
  • Do not overreach and ensure firm footing.
