3.1.3 Operating the Main switch
WARNING!
Operating the main switch while driving switches off all electrical
systems. This can lead to very dangerous situations and damage
to the electronics of the vehicle.
Never operate the main switch while driving.
Never operate the main switch when the ignition is on.
CAUTION:
First switch off the ignition and wait 80 s before switching off
the main switch. This is to allow the after-running of various
electrical systems.
Never use the main switch as an ignition switch.
Use the main switch when the vehicle is parked and left
unattended.
Electronic main switch
The electronic main switch also has a
switch (1) on the centre console in the
cabin.
The electronic main switch does not
switch off at once when the control
switch is operated. This happens with a
10-second delay.
