4.12 Compressor Lock
Error Code E6
Description Compressor lock.
Method of Error
Detection
A compressor lock is detected by checking the compressor running condition through the
position detection circuit.
Error Decision
Conditions
 If the error repeats, the system is shut down.
 Reset condition: Continuous run for about 11 minutes without any other error.

Causes
 Closed stop valve
 Compressor locked
 Disconnection of compressor harness
Troubleshooting
Check No.12 Refer to P.86

Open the stop valve.
System shut
down after errors repeated
several times?
Emergency
stop without compressor
running?
Turn off and turn on the power
to restart the system
Check the electronic expansion
valve coil. Go to Check No. 12.
Replace the compressor. /

Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
connectors, or parts may be damaged.
