Installation
Unit installation
Installation should be performed by experienced personnel. Avoid installing the equipment in a place
that could be dangerous during maintenance operations, such as (but not limited to) platforms without
parapets or railings, or areas not complying with the clearance requirements.
• Installation must be performed in accordance with the installation instructions in
this Manual.
• If the unit operates cooling mode when ambient temperature is lower than 5°C
and wind speed is more than 10 m/s, please consult manufacturer.
• Install a strainer on the inlet to each heat exchanger. Failure to install a strainer
allows solid particles and/or welding slags to enter the heat exchanger. Installation
of a strainer with mesh size recommended by manufacturer (refer to page 16). The
manufacturer will not hold responsible for any damage to heat exchanger due to
blockage.
• All other water piping outside the chiller must be protected against freezing.
• Adjust the anti-vibration mountings beneath the equipment before connecting
water pipe.
