8.5 Safety instructions for daily use of the hob
Do not place heavy objects on the hob as they may damage the cooking zones.
Do not place foils, plastics or other easily meltable materials such as sugar on the
hob.
Do not place any easily flammable materials on the hob, as they may become
deformed or catch fire if accidentally switched on.
Do not use electrical appliances in the area of the hot cooking zones.
Do not touch hot surfaces (e.g. hob). Use heat-resistant gloves or oven mitts.
Protect face.
Stay by the appliance during use as oil and grease can ignite ( Fire procedure).
8.6 Safety instructions for daily use of the oven
Do not store highly flammable materials near the appliance.
Never use the appliance to heat a room.
Donot touchhot surfaces (e.g. heating elements or glass doors). Use heat-resistant
gloves or oven mitts. Protect face.
During use, the enamel coating may change colour. This is completely normal and
does not represent an impairment of the function and other usage characteristics
and is therefore not a defect in the sense of warranty.
Procedure in case of fire
Never try to extinguish burning oil or fat with water.
8.7 Safety instructions for cleaning and care
Do not interfere with the appliance except for the cleaning and maintenance work
described in this manual.
Repairs should only be carried out by qualified specialists (After Sales Service).
Only use original spare parts.
Switch off the appliance and allow to cool down before all cleaning or service work.
8.8 Safety instructions for disposal
Dispose of the appliance in accordance with local environmental regulations ( Disposal).
1. Switch off the appliance. Disconnect the power supply with the switch on the fuse
box.
2. Cover flames with a fire blanket or lid.
3. If the fire spreads, call the fire brigade immediately, inform fellow occupants and
leave the fire area.
