Operating the glass ceramic hob
WARNING
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
The glass ceramic hob cannot be switched off.
Switch off or unscrew the household fuse immediately and contact the After
Sales Service.
Do not make any repairs to the appliance.
The cooking zones on the hob have different diameters and outputs. Regulate the
heating performance of a cooking zone with the energy controller.
Suitable cookware
No special crockery is required for the glass ceramic hob. However, it should be heat-
resistant (e.g. pots and pans made of enamel or stainless steel) and have a sufficiently
thick base. Follow the crockery manufacturer's instructions.
Use cookware that fills the size of the cooking zone.
Only use crockery with a smooth and even base. Rough pot bases can damage the
glass ceramic hob.
The cooking surface and base of the pots and pans must be clean and dry.
Do not use crockery that is made of plastic or has a scratched aluminium layer.
