The tank might be full or missing; ensure it's empty and properly installed. After a power outage, the compressor might be delaying its start for 3 minutes. Freezing of the heat exchanger may also be the issue, so check the display for a message and wait for defrosting. A defective humidity sensor or a malfunctioning fan motor could also be the reason; check the display for errors and verify the fan's rotation.
