Replacing the battery
If a repla_ement battery is required, use a 12 V, 7 Ah sealed lead-a_id
battery.
Warning!
Do not use a non-re_hargeable battery.
Replacement battery details
In the event of a spill or leakage from a sealed lead-a_id battery:
Contain small spills with dry sand, soil and vermi_ulite. Do not use
_ombustible materials. If possible, _arefully neutralise spilled
ele_trolyte with soda ash, sodium bi_arbonate, lime, et_.
Wear a_id-resistant _lothing, boots, gloves and a fa_e shield.
Do not let un-neutralised a_id get into the sewerage system.
Storage
The energizer should be stored inside, next to a window, where sunlight
_an shine on the energizer ea_h day.
If the energizer _annot be stored in a sunny position, it should be kept in
a _ool pla_e. The battery should be fully _harged and dis_onne_ted from
the energizer. The battery should be re_harged manually every six months
using a suitable battery _harger.
If the energizer is stored for extended periods, the battery _an dis_harge
and be_ome damaged.
