Recommended PV array voltage conguration:
As illustrated below, when the maximum power point voltage (Vmp) of the PV array
matches the bus voltage (Vdc) while the system is operational, the PV array can produce
its maximum power (Pmax). If Vmp deviates from Vdc, the greater the deviation, the
lower the power output from the PV array. To maximize the power output from the PV
array, it is advisable to align the Vmp of the PV array as closely as possible to the bus
voltage value Vdc.
The Vdc can be determined by the following formula:
