• Speaker Placement: Due to their excellent dispersion, the T652 speakers offer flexibility in placement. While they can be simply placed where they fit into a decorating scheme, more rigorous positioning can optimize performance.
  • Optimal Placement: Position speakers directly in front of the primary listening position, avoiding hard vertical edges within 3-4 feet of either side. Place cabinets about 1-2 feet out from the wall.
  • Listening Position: Aim for your ears to be 10-12 feet from the tweeter when seated, with an angle between the speakers of 30 to 60 degrees.
  • Bass Adjustment: Adjust speaker distance from nearby walls to achieve balanced bass levels. Speakers can be placed directly against walls, but if bass is excessive, move them away from the rear wall.
  • Caution: Wall-mounting of the T652 speakers is not recommended.
• Speaker Connection: Use the supplied 2-conductor red/black speaker cables or other good quality wire. For proper phasing, connect red speaker terminals to red amplifier terminals and black speaker terminals to black amplifier terminals. Marked sides of the wire (stripe, raised rib, or different color) should be used for "red" connections if no color code is provided.
• Power Rating Note: The T652 is designed for use with stereo equipment rated from 5 to 150 watts and from 4 to 8 ohms impedance. It is crucial to avoid setting the volume level above the point of audible distortion, as this can damage the amplifier or loudspeaker. Immediately reduce volume if distortion is heard.

Maintenance Features:

• Cleaning: Speakers can be cleaned by wiping with a damp, lint-free cloth.
• Finish Protection: The finish can be maintained and enhanced by periodic use of a surface protection product like “ArmorAll”.
• Grilles: The grilles, which are removable and acoustically transparent, can be vacuumed (with a brush attachment) or gently tapped/brushed to remove dust and debris. It is recommended to keep the grilles in place during use.
