Function Description

The DBPOWER RD-828 projector is capable of displaying Full HD video signals and composite video signals, supporting stereo audio input and output. The projector offers multiple installation methods, including desk-front, desk-rear, ceiling-front, and ceiling-rear projection, to accommodate different viewing environments. It features advanced keystone correction and digital zoom functions for optimal image adjustment. The projector also supports wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi for screen mirroring from iOS and Android devices (iOS Cast and Miracast). Usage Features

• Easy Startup: Power on the projector using the remote or power key, adjust the focus ring for image clarity, and use 4D keystone correction for a rectangular screen.
• Input Source Selection: Connect external devices to the corresponding interfaces (HDMI, USB, AV) and select the correct source from the projector's menu.
• Language Setting: Users can set their preferred language through the "Other Setting" menu.
• Focus Adjustment: Rotate the focus ring slowly to achieve the clearest image. If blurry, adjust the projection distance.
• Keystone Correction:
  • Vertical Keystone Correction: Adjust vertical parameters (-50 to 50) to correct trapezoidal images.

Maintenance Features

• Cleaning:
  • Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
  • Clean the outer surface with a damp cloth and neutral detergent.
  • Wipe the lens with a microfiber cloth to prevent scratches.
  • Regularly clean projector vents and speakers with a banister brush.
• Power Cord Care: Avoid excessive bending of the power cord to prevent electric shock and fire. Unplug when not in use.
• Temperature Management: Avoid touching the projector ventilation when in use or recently used to prevent burns. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating, which can damage the projector. Adjust the tilt foot for stable heat dissipation.
• Environmental Conditions: Keep the projector away from water or other liquids, and avoid wet, moist, or dusty conditions to prevent electric shock or malfunction.
• Installation: Ensure the projector is mounted correctly on a ceiling or surface. Use high-quality screws for ceiling mounting. The recommended ambient temperature range for operation is 41°F - 95°F (5°C - 35°C).
• Troubleshooting: The manual provides a guide for common issues such as power indicator not working, remote control malfunction, no image display, and unexpected shutdowns, along with possible causes and solutions. For example, if there's no image, check the input source, cable connection, and PC output frequency. If the projector overheats, check if the fan is broken.
• Warranty: Disassembling the projector by yourself will void the warranty.
