8.9.4 e.CLEAN SYSTEM® faults
Only acknowledge faults if you are authorised to do so. If you are not authorised or if you were unable to
eliminate the fault, inform your superior (see page 29: Safety > Personnel qualification).
8.10 Oven parameters
This chapter contains information about the oven parameters that can be set in the menus.
The oven parameters can be accessed with the “Control” > “Oven parameters” (page 116) operating screen.
Please not that some of the oven parameters can only be set with authorisation level 2.
The options marked with >< are the factory settings for the appliance.
Safety information: Risk of malfunctions!
This function is suitable only for advanced operators. An incorrectly set oven parameter can result in appliance
malfunctions. Only change the oven parameters if you are absolutely certain of the effects of these changes.

There is no
“e.CLEAN
SYSTEM®
cleaning” function
available in the
menus.
The appliance is not equipped with the
e.CLEAN SYSTEM® or the function was
hidden at your request.
Call service.
The cleaning
result is unsatis-
factory.
Is the shut-off valve for the water supply
line closed?
Repeat the cleaning program. If the result
does not improve: Call service.
Is the water pressure too low?
Is the appliance very dirty?
Was the cleaning program cancelled
prematurely?
Water remains in
the base tray
during cleaning.
The drain is blocked with debris or the drain
hose is kinked.
Clean the drain filter in the baking chamber.
Check routing of the drain hoses (perma-
nent slope, no kinking, trap for ventilation,
etc.)
Water drips from
the door while the
cleaning program
is running.
The water cannot drain from the baking
chamber properly or the rubber door seal is
too old or dirty.
Clean the drain filter in the baking chamber.
Clean the waste water tank on the rear of
the appliance.
Clean the drain hoses.
Clean the rubber door seal with a damp
cloth.
Door sealing profile has to be replaced:
