9.7.7 e.CLEAN SYSTEM® – cancelling
In an emergency, the cleaning program can be cancelled. If the cleaning program has to be cancelled, the
baking block is activated. This means that baking and cooking are not possible after the termination.
The appliance can only be used for baking and cooking again once a cleaning program has been completed.
This process ensures that any residual cleaning agent or rinse aid that may still be present are rinsed out of
the appliance.
Safety information: Emergency interlock release of the door during the cleaning program
The emergency interlock release for the door should not be actuated during the cleaning program. This could
lead to hot steam and/or hot water containing the cleaning agent escaping from the oven and the final rinse
process will not be carried out.
Safety information: Inadvertent spilling of cleaning agents
If the cleaning agent or rinse aid liquid is unintentionally spilled, thoroughly remove it immediately in
accordance with the guidelines stated in the operating manual and the safety data sheet.
Personal protective equipment:
• Wear you personal protective equipment.
Requirement:
• The cleaning program is started.
Carry out the following steps:
► Press and hold the ‹illuminated push button› on the control panel of the appliance for
two seconds.
▼ The cleaning program is cancelled and the baking block is activated.
▼ A cleaning program has to be restarted and run until the end of the program.
» Finished.
9.7.8 Topping up oven cleaning agent and rinse aid
If the cleaning agent or rinse aid tank is almost empty, a corresponding message will be shown on the display
each time the appliance is switched on or off. The rinse aid tank is only provided on appliances with e.CLEAN
SYSTEM 4. On appliances with e.CLEAN 500, the cleaning agent tank may only be topped up by DEBAG
Customer Service or service partners appointed by DEBAG. Always keep the tank closed during operation.
