The hood must be unplugged from the electrical power source, both by unplugging the
appliance from the socket as well as de-activating the breaker, before removing the metal l-
ters. After cleaning, you must replace the metal lters as outlined in the instructions.

sewithcleanwateranddrywithasoft
cloth.

After30hours’operation,thebutton
padwillsignalthatthegreaselteris
saturatedbyashingthe4speedLEDs.
Pressthetimerbuttontoreset.
Thegreaselterscanbewashedby
hand or in the dishwasher.  These
ltersneedtobecleanedonaregu-
larbasisbecauseotherwisetheymay
presentarerisk.Retthegrease
ltersandfrontpanel,makingsure
that the panel is properly tted at
thesides sothatitdoesnot cause
thedowndrafttostopoperating.
Active
carbonlter
Intherecirculationmode,youmust
substitutetheactivecarbonlterpe-
riodically.Toremovethebrepanel
youmustrstremovetheanti-grea-
segrillandpulltheplasticknobon
thepanelitself,removingitfromits
housing. To replace theactive car-
bon lter, do the reverse.  Replace
theusedcarbonlteronanaverage
ofeverysixmonths.
