If your Defiant Security System lights stay on continuously, it might be due to several reasons. A bulb may be too close to the motion sensor or pointed at objects causing heat interference; reposition the bulb. The motion sensor could be picking up heat from sources like air vents; try decreasing the range or repositioning the sensor. Check if the sensor is in manual mode and switch it to auto. Avoid using dimmers or timers; replace them with a standard switch. Also, ensure the fixture isn't on a circuit with motors or fluorescent bulbs; if it is, install it on a separate circuit.
