MAINTENANCE
The shower does not close or the operation time is incorrect:
Impurities or damage to the O-ring inside the push-button
starter
1:
SPORTING shower panel
(fig. G):
- Unscrew the screws 4 and remove the end-cap 2.
-
Shut-off the water supply and remove the push-button starter. Unscrew the push-button starter
connection screw
20 for 3 turns
, remove the covering cap of the push-button starter and apply
pressure with a screwdriver to remove the starter.
- Check/clean the O-rings
21 and 22
.
- Replace the push-button starter and covering cap and restore the water supply: press firmly
on the push-button and replace the screw
20 (fig. G, H)
which is inserted in the neck of the
push-button starter. Do not tighten the screw all the way.
- Replace the end-cap 2 and the screws 4
and restore the water supply
.
Wall-mounted exposed or recessed
SPORTING shower (fig. H):
-
Shut-off the water supply and remove the push-button starter using an Allen key.
- Check/clean the O-rings
21 and 22
.
- Replace the push-button starter using an Allen key and restore the water supply.
Impurities or damage to the O-ring inside the shower head mechanism:
-
Shut-off the water supply and remove the
mechanism 23 (fig. I) using a pair of circlip pliers (fig. I)
making sure that you remove the washer 24 (fig. J). Remove the piston 27 and the spring 26 (fig. J).

Clean the interior of the delay case
25 (fig. J, K)
with a cloth, then the thin calibrated groove

(fig. K)
with a non-metallic pointer, and check/clean the lip seal and O-ring washers
28 and
29 (fig. J)
.
- Replace the mechanism, remembering to include the washer
24 (fig. J)
and restore the water
supply.
The shower starts all by itself or the flow is very poor:
Impurities in the filter 8 and/or non-return valve 9 (figs. A, B, C, E): shut-off the water supply and clean them.
• Cleaning chrome:
Do not use abrasive, chlorine or any other acid-based cleaning products. Clean
with soapy water using a cloth or sponge.
• Frost protection:
Drain the pipes and operate the mixer several times to drain any remaining water
.
• If the installation remains unused for a period of time we recommend removing the cartridge
mechanisms from the shower head and push-button starter and store them in the shade at room
temperature.
