Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the battery.
4. Remove the memory modules.
5. Remove the wireless card.
6. Remove the left fan.
7. Remove the right fan.
8. Remove the power-adapter port.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the system board and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
CAUTION:
The I/O board connector is located underneath the system board. Turn the system board over and disconnect
the I/O board cable from the system board.
