8. Disconnect the touch pad cable.
Use a plastic scribe to release the locking clips on both sides of the system board connector, and then gently pull to disconnect the touch pad connector
from the system board connector.

9. Disconnect the LED board cable.

10. Moving from left to right, carefully lift the palm rest along the rear edge, near the hinge brackets, then rotate the palm rest forward to remove it from the
computer.
