Removing the system fan
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD card.
3. Enter service mode.
4. Remove the base cover.
About this task

Steps
1. Disconnect the fan cable from the connector on the system board.
2. Remove the two screws (M2x5) that secures the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Lift and remove the fan from the computer.
