4. Remove the fan.
5. Remove the heat sink.
6. Remove the solid state drive.
7. Remove the display assembly.
About this task

Steps
1. Open the latch, and disconnect the fingerprint-reader cable, I/O-board cable, touchpad cable, keyboard cable and keyboard-
backlit cable from the system board.
2. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board.
3. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the system board.
4. Lift the system board off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
