Prerequisites
Remove the base cover

Procedure
1 Peel the tape o
the heat sink.
2 Disconnect the fan cable from the system board. Note the cable routing and remove the fan cable and the antenna cable from the
routing guides on the fan.
3 Peel the tapes o the fan.
4 Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
5 Lift the fan o the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
