Removing the Speakers

Prerequisites
1 Remove the battery. See "Removing the Battery" on page 10.
2 Follow the instructions from step 1 to step 3 in "Removing the Optical Drive" on
page 16.
3 Follow the instructions from step 1 to step 3 in "Removing the Hard Drive" on
page 19.
4 Remove the base cover. See "Removing the Base Cover" on page 26.
5 Remove the keyboard. See "Removing the Keyboard" on page 22
Procedure
1 Using a plastic scribe, release the tabs on the right speaker.
2 Note the speaker-cable routing and remove the cable from its routing guides.
