Steps
NOTE:
For non-WWAN LTE configuration, you must remove and transfer the dummy SIM-card filler when replacing the
palm-rest assembly.
1. Place the palm-rest assembly on a flat surface.
2. Remove the dummy SIM card filler for the non-WWAN LTE configuration.

1. Install the display assembly.
2. Install the keyboard assembly.
3. Install the smart card reader.
4. Install the LED board.
5. Install the power-button board.
6. Install the SIM-card slot filler for models shipped without a WWAN card.
7. Install the system board.
8. Install the assembly inner frame.
9. Install the speakers.
10. Install the heat sink - UMA or discrete based on the system configuration.
11. Install the battery.
12. Install the WWAN card.
13. Install the WLAN card.
14. Install the 2280 solid-state drive or 2230 solid-state drive.
15. Install the memory module.
16. Install the base cover.
17. Install the microSD card.
18. Install the SIM card.
19. Exit Service Mode.
