Installing the Palm Rest
1. From the left edge of the palm rest, press the palm rest downwards on all
the edges on the computer.
2. Press down on all edges to ensure that the tabs are engaged.
3. Connect the following cables to the system board:
❍ power button cable
❍ fingerprint cable
❍ touchpad cable
4. Tighten the screws to secure the palm rest.
5. Flip the computer over and tighten the screws to secure the palm rest.
6. Replace the
CPU door.
7. Replace the
keyboard.
8. Replace the
keyboard trim.
9. Replace the
optical drive.
10. Replace the
back panel.
11. Replace the
battery.
