3. To release the initial set of cables from the system board:
a. Disconnect the optical-drive cable and hard-drive cable from the connectors on the system
board [1].
b. Disconnect the touch pad cable from the connectors on the system board [2].
c. Unthread the cables from the retention clips of the computer [3].
4. To release the second set of cables from the system board:
a. Remove the screws that secure the optical-drive cable and hard-drive cable to the system [1].
b. Disconnect the optical-drive cable and hard-drive cable [2].
5. Disconnect all the cables that are connected to the system board.
