Assign virtual router ID to the interface that will participate in the protocol:
console(config)#interface vlan 50
console(config-if-vlan50)#ip vrrp 20

Specify the IP address that the virtual router function will recognize.
console(config-if-vlan50)#ip vrrp 20 ip 192.150.2.1

Set the priority for the interface. Assigning a lower priority value than the interface on the other router
ensures that this interface the backup.
console(config-if-vlan50)#ip vrrp 20 priority 250

Start the virtual router on the interface.
console(config-if-vlan50)#ip vrrp 20 mode
console(config-if-vlan50)#exit
Using the Web Interface to Configure VRRP
Use the following screens to perform the same configuration using the Graphical User Interface:
Routing > IP > Configuration.
To enable routing for the switch.
Routing > IP > Interface Configuration.
To enable routing for the VLAN interfaces and configure
their IP addresses and subnet masks.
Routing > VRRP > VRRP Configuration.
To enable VRRP for the switch
Routing > VRRP > Virtual Router Configuration.
To configure the interface for VRRP.
