To install a SCSI hard-disk drive in the external drive bay, use the following procedure.

LQVWUXFWLRQVDWWKHIURQWRIWKLVJXLGH
1. Attach the hard-disk drive to the drive carrier.
a. With the drive carrier laying flat, place the hard-disk drive right-side up on the
carrier with the front of the drive directly behind the carrier handle and the
drive connector on the end of the carrier.
b. Secure the hard-disk drive to the drive carrier with four screws inserted
through the bottom of the carrier.
2. Align the edge of the drive carrier with the notches in the drive bay assembly and
slide the carrier into the assembly as shown in Figure 9-7.
