What to do if my Dell PowerVault LTO 7 Storage tape drive does not load a tape cartridge?

If your Dell Storage tape drive won't load a cartridge: * First, ensure a cartridge isn't already loaded by pressing Eject. If it doesn't eject, power cycle the drive, wait for the ready/activity LED to turn solid green, and then try Eject again. * Second, make sure the cartridge tray is in the correct position by pressing Eject. * Third, verify the cartridge was loaded correctly. * Fourth, try loading a different cartridge. If multiple cartridges have the same problem, the tape drive may be defective and require technical assistance. * Finally, ensure the tape drive is properly connected to a power source.
