Removing the Heat Sink
1. Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer

2. Remove the left cover.
3. Disconnect the heat-sink fan cable from the system board.

4. Remove the captive screws that secure the heat sink.

5. Lift up the heat sink and remove it from the computer.
