Appendix A Network Ports and Protocols
PS Series groups use a number of TCP and UDP protocols for group management, I/O operations, and
internal communication. If you have switches or routers set to block these protocols, you may need to
unblock them to allow management or I/O operations to work correctly. The required and optional
protocols are listed in the following sections.
A.1 Required Ports and Protocols
Table 21 lists the ports and protocols required for operating an EqualLogic iSCSI SAN.
