Procedure
1 Lift the latch and disconnect the touch-pad cable from the system board.
1 latch 2 touch-pad cable
2 Peel off the touch-pad cable from the keyboard and palm-rest assembly.
3 Remove the screws that secure the touch pad to the palm-rest assembly.
