Replacing the keyboard-
controls board

Procedure
1 Adhere the keyboard-controls board to the palm-rest assembly.
2 Slide the keyboard-backlight cable, the keyboard cable, the keyboard-
controls board cable, and the battery-status light cable into the
keyboard-controls board and press down the latches to secure cables.
3 Adhere the tape that secures the keyboard-controls board to the palm-
rest assembly.
4 Adhere the tape that secures the battery-status light cable to the
keyboard-controls board.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the battery.
2 Replace the base cover.
