Removing the primary hard-drive

CAUTION: Hard drives are fragile. Exercise care when handling the hard
drive.
CAUTION: To avoid data loss, do not remove the hard drive while the
computer is in sleep or on state.
Prerequisites
Remove the right-side cover.
Procedure (with screws)
NOTE: There is a running change on implementing a new blue tool-less
plastic bracket for the primary hard-disk drive. Technicians encounter that
later revisions of the systems have the new blue tool-less plastic bracket for
the primary hard-disk drive.
1 Disconnect the data and power cables from the hard drive.
