Summary

Faucet Installation

Position Faucet and Secure Mounting Nut

Place faucet with gasket/escutcheon, secure with mounting nut and washer.

Connect Water Supply Lines

Flush lines and connect to water supply using appropriate fittings.

Metal Pop-up Assembly

Prepare Faucet and Sink Area

Remove stopper/flange, screw nut, push gasket, prepare tailpiece.

Install Pop-up Body and Flange

Apply silicone, insert body into sink, screw flange into body.

Connect Pop-up Drain Assembly

Connect horizontal rod to strap, insert lift rod, connect assembly to drain.

Grid Strainer Installation (Model 797LF)

Prepare and Install Grid Strainer

Remove flange, prepare tailpiece, apply silicone, insert and secure strainer.

Connect Strainer to Drain

Pull strainer down, secure nut/washer, connect assembly to drain.

Faucet Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Check for Leaks

Inspect all connections for leaks and retighten if necessary.

Address Handle Leaks

Tighten bonnet nut if faucet leaks from under the handle.

Address Spout Leaks

Shut off water and replace valve cartridge if leaks from spout.
